Dr. Michael O'Brien, Associate Dentist

Hi, I'm Dr. Michael O'Brien.  I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry, a program renowned for clinical excellence in restorative dentistry.  I am licensed to practice in both California and Missouri and am a member of the America Dental Association, the California Dental Assoication, and the Missouri Dental Association.  I am very passionate about dentistry. I am constantly reading and researching Dental Literature to continuously update my dental knowledge.  I am dedicated to the craft of dentistry and committed to providing clear treatment options in simple terms and consistently excellent results. 

I am a St. Louis native and John Burroughs alum.  I love traveling, beer making and dining.  I reside in University City with my chihuahua dascund mixed dog named Daniel.  

Abram Whitehead, Business Manager

Hi, I'm Abram (Abe), the Treasurer of Jessica C. Nieva DDS, P.C., Co-CEO of A & A Dental Advisors, L.L.C. (A Local Dental Professional Education Business), and an Independent Consultant for area Dentists.  I have been around the business of dentistry nearly my whole life.  My father owned a very successful dental supply and equipment company in Springfield, MO for many years, where he worked with dentists and their staff to improve dental care.  In my time at this office, I am dedicated to making sure that the patients' experiences are rewarding.

For fun, Abe enjoys golfing, wishing he was a race car driver, and spending time with his wife and two beautiful daughters.

Cara Parchomski, Patient Care Coordinator

Hi, I'm Cara, the Patient Care Coordinator for Dr. Nieva.  I graduated from Missouri College in 2006 as a Certified Dental Assistant and am a member of the American Dental Assistants Association.  With a background in dentistry of over 5 years, I am here to help the patients in any way I can, from understanding their insurance benefits to arranging an appointment that best suits their busy schedule.  I love people and feel a sense of satisfaction when I am able to help our patients find a way to afford the dental treatment they need and want.  

In my spare time I love to cook, work out and relax at home with my husband, whom I lovingly refer to as "Stud Muffin Mr. P"!

Gina Ferrante, Registered Dental Hygienist, RDH

Hi, I'm Gina, one of Fenton Family Dentistry's Registered Dental Hygienist.  I have an Associate's Degree from Forest Park Community College and am honored to work with Dr. Nieva as well as all of the other team members. 

I am a member of the Greater St. Louis Dental Hygiene Association, the Missouri Dental Hygiene Association and the American Dental Hygiene Association.  I have always wanted to work in the dental profession and feel my career is not only rewarding, but also exciting.  My passion is making patients smile as well as helping them achieve an excellent standard of oral health through education and support.   

I enjoy spending time with my family and my cocker spaniel, Jack.  I am enrolled at UMKC and working towards a bachelor's degree in dental hygiene and excited to become a positive influence on the dental hygiene community.   

Mary Ann Reuter, Registered Dental Hygienist, RDH

Hi, I'm Mary Anne, one of Fenton Family Dentistry's Registered Dental Hygienists.  I grew up in St. Louis and am the youngest of seven kids.  I've always known I wanted to work in the dental field, as my father is a dentist and I always admired his work.  After attending John F. Kennedy Catholic High School, where I met my husband, we both attended Missouri State University.  I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology and later went to Dental Hygiene school at Forest Park Community College, allowing me to do what I love most! 

In my spare time I enjoy playing indoor soccer and spending time with my husband and my Goldendoodle, Charlie Mac!

Candace Sholes, Dental Assistant, CDA

Hi, I'm Candace, Dr. Nieva's dental assistant.  I was born and raised in Iowa, but moved to the St. Louis area 8 years ago.  I graduated from Missouri College in 2006 as a Certified Dental Assistant and have furthered my education in the dental field by receiving my Expanded Functions in Restorative and Prosthetics certification.  Additionally, I am certified by the State of Missouri to monitor Nitrous Oxide-Oxygen Analgesia.  Although I have worked in several areas of the dental field, I enjoy assisting the best Doctor ever and interacting with the patients.  My concern is that the patients are well informed and all their needs are met.  

I enjoy spending time with my husband and 3 kids.  I  also love the Cubs and am a huge Blues fan!
